The enzymes used in Multi-Zyme are carefully prepared to ensure the maximum possible enzyme activity. The enzymes are pharmaceutical grade and contain no mycotoxins, fungi or other contaminants. Enzymes are derived from non-animal sources and remain active through a pH range of 2-12. This means they remain active in the acid conditions of the upper and the more alkaline conditions of the lower digestive tract. Bromelain, from pineapple, is also active through a wide pH range of 3-8.

Another consideration in choosing the right ingredients is temperature sensitivity. Multi-Zyme uses enzymes that are fully active at body temperatures. This is an important but often overlooked factor in many competitors’ enzyme preparations.
